On March 8 a small group of us, women and a man, stood on busy highway 203 in the downtown area of little Carnation, Washington, in the rain and cold, with pink balloons and signs, happily waving to all. Women Say NO To War. Many drivers, with their waves and honks of support, made our frozen fingers worth it, especially the thumbs up from more than a few truckers. We figure every little bit helps! |
