Reception for the Iraqi & US women’s delegation CODEPINK and Andy Shallal will be hosting a reception at Busboys & Poets for the Iraqi and U.S. Women's Delegation, Gold Star Moms Cindy Sheehan and Elaine Johnson, Whistleblower Ann Wright, and CODEPINK co-founders Medea Benjamin, Jodie Evans and Gael Murphy. Invited guests include Ralph Nader and Congress members, John Conyers, Dennis Kucinich, Barbabra Lee, Cynthia McKinney, Hilda Solis, Maxine Waters and Lynn Woolsey among other special guests from the peace and justice community.

Iraqi and U.S. delegates will make office visits to both House and Senate Members to share the realities of living under U.S. occupation and to discuss a Women's peace plan for Iraq. Organizers include United for Peace and Justice coalition. Click here for more info on UFPJ Iraq-related legislative action.

Meet at 8:30 am in Longworth Cafeteria, at the back dining area (up the steps, opposite the food court) for breakfast and lobby briefing. This will be our base for the day.
